Earthquake
Chris Spears was determined to figure out the cause of the boom. His next theory was that an earthquake hit Colorado that night. After checking with the Geological Survey, the theory was debunked. It turns out that they recorded the sound coming from the Rocky Mountain Arsenal caused by a train passing through.
