American Staffordshire Terrier
Don’t worry, this dog’s bark is bigger than its bite. They’re really just big teddy bears who love to spend time with their humans. With the proper training and socialization, they make fantastic companions. They are good with kids and only require moderate exercise. They are happiest when they have a job to do. This quality paired with their natural strength makes them excellent companions for distance runners or cyclists. A quick brushing keeps their short coats healthy and glossy. American Staffordshires are incredibly attached to their families, but often do best in households where they are the only pet. They are not particularly fond of other dogs or cats unless brought up with them from an early age.
